Ep. 189 - Howard Shore's 'Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring'

Again, there is no question that Howard Shore's 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy (along with his 'Hobbit' trilogy) are some of his best work to-date. This track is especially epic, dynamic, gorgeous, dark, but also heartfelt and emotional. There wasn't one person in the theater that wasn't shedding a tear at the end of this sequence, and rightfully so. The acting is superb, but with Jackon's direction in parallel with Shore's gorgeous score, one would have to question whether or not your reaction would have been the same if the music had been different. Enjoy this one - there is nothing quite like it.
