Regardless of what you think of Rupert Sanders' 'Snow White and the Huntsman', we love James Newton Howard's work in the film. This scene in particular is one of our favorites, when Eric the Huntsman professes his regret for not being there to save Snow White, who is lifeless from eating the poisoned apple. He also mentions that her heart and strength remind him of his wife, Sara. The second kiss of course is what brings her back to life upon which she rallies the Duke's army to mount a siege against Ravenna (Charlize Theron).
James Newton Howard, of course, scores the emotion in this segment so beautifully. There is something unique about his ability to score each scene as they flow into each other, but also capturing the unique character moments that make these moments in the film so compelling. Enjoy this one.
