There is no question that 'It Follows' put director David Robert Mitchell on the map. The film was acclaimed by critics and was a remarkable commercial success considering its low budget. The film itself is one of the most creative and unique horror films we've seen, and the music reminds us of the epic synth days of Carpenter and Wendy Carlos. The score was composed by Rich Vreeland, better known as Disasterpeace.
This scene featured here is near the end, when the main character Jay (Make Monroe) is trying to trap an evil entity following her by going to a public pool with her friends. The main theme here is the title track, and we absolutely love it for its texture and layered color. It also creates an interesting feel when looking at the crumbling infrastructure of rural Detroit as the characters make their way to the pool. If you haven't seen this film, do so! It will not dissapoint.
