Nothing compares to 'The Dark Knight'. The epic performances, 70mm film sequences, practical effects, and the incredible score is just a small portion of what makes it a nearly perfect film. Scored by Hans Zimmer and James Newton Howard, this snapshot is at the end of the movie, when Gordon tells his son that he (Batman) is 'the silent guardian.. the watchful protector.. The Dark Knight'.
One can absolutely hear the two-note motif that Zimmer said represented Batman's pain and guilt, with rising swells and emotional moments that are true to form for both Zimmer and Nolan's perfect creative combination.
What more needs to be said? Enjoy.
