Action, Drama, History, 21-Mar-2022
This 2005 historical drama produced and directed by Stephen Spielberg is a film we can never forget. Nominated for five Oscars including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Adapted Screenplay, and Best Editing, John Williams also received a nomination for Best Original Score. Williams was actually nominated for two separate films that same year - the other being 'Memoirs of a Geisha'.
There are many moments in this film that are incredibly dark, but Williams' score under Spielberg's direction infuses the story with love, fear, and hope. That all comes through in the music.
