Ep. 56 - John Barry & A-ha's 'The Living Daylights'
John Williams

Action, Adventure, Thriller, Music, 19-Apr-2021
This continues the great 007 tradition with John Barry at the helm, but this time collaborating with the great A-ha to compose the title track, "The Living Daylights". This was the eleventh and final Bond soundtrack to be scored by Barry, and the soundtrack introduced sequenced electronic rhythm tracks overdubbed with the orchestra - a relatively new innovation at the time. Apparently, there were two mixes of this title track - one by A-ha, and the other by Barry. Barry's film mix is heard on this soundtrack, while the A-ha preferred mix can be heard on their 1088 album, "Stay on These Roads". Enjoy!
