Kenji Kawai's masterful score to 'Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence' utilizes a haunting coral song which is actually a wedding song, originally used to get rid of evil influence. Kenji originally wanted to use Bulgarian folk singers, but ended up using a Japanese folk song choir instead. The song uses an ancient form of the Japanese language mixed with Bulgarian harmony and traditional Japanese notes.
