The following cues are within this 14-minute sequence from the best Christmas movie ever, "Die Hard"
Cues: "Going After John Again," "Have a Few Laughs", "Don't Shoot!", "Welcome to the Party", "The Fight Begins", and "The Fight"
Nothing compares to this ultimate 1988 holiday classic directed by John McTiernan. We feel that it is one of Kamen's finest scores. Interestingly, McTiernan wanted to use Beethoven's 9th Symphony as inspiration but Kamen objected and used Wagner as a foundation instead. In this lengthy 14+ minute sequence, listen to the incredible pizzicato, Arco strings, brass, woodwinds, and even sleigh bells during moments of menace and tension. It's a true work of genius.
Please have a Merry Christmas, watch lots of movies, listen to great music, and check this one out if you haven't already!
