In another snapshot featuring the genius relationship between James Newton Howard and M. Night Shyamalan, we are going to focus this one on the first feature film that sparked their creative relationship for many years to come.

This scene in particular comes at the end of the film when Malcolm (played by Willis) realizes that he's dead. Between Shyamalan's precise direction combined with Howard's emotional beats through music, you can suddenly see what originally made these two creative minds come together - it's a beautiful sequence of scenes to watch and feel.
