Anastasia is a Macedonian music group formed in 1987. Their music is a blend combining Byzantine past, through Eastern Orthodox Church music, with a rich blend of ethnic Macedonian music rhythms.

Academy-Award nominated "Before The Rain", directed by Milcho Manchevski, features a very rich tapestry of sounds unique to the film, making it one of the most fascinating cinematic experiences to-date.
