"I Am a Man of Constant Sorrow" performed by The Soggy Bottom Boys (Dan Tyminski)

Joel and Ethan Coen's masterpiece 'O Brother, Where Art Thou?' from 2000 is an undisputed gem. Based on 'The Odyssey' by Homer with a score by T Bone Burnett, this scene focuses on a performance by The Soggy Bottom Boys (Ulysses Everett McGill, Pete, and Delmar O'Donnell) as they venture into a recording studio to sing for some quick cash. Unbeknownst to them, their song becomes a massive hit and they become famous without even realizing it until the end.

This song is actually performed by the great Dan Tyminski, who won a Grammy for Best Country Collaboration at the 44th Annual Grammy Awards in 2002. Tyminski is an American bluegrass composer, vocalist, and instrumentalist who is a member of Alison Krauss's band Union Station. The song also features backup vocals by Harley Allen and Pat Enright.
