Ep. 25 - James Horner's 'Sneakers'
Comedy, Crime, Drama, Music, 30-Dec-2020
To this day, 'Sneakers' is one of our favorite films. Composed by James Horner featuring the great Branford Marsalis, this cue begins with the unique Marsalis solo, then fuses with the track 'Really' by Mike Bloomfield & Al Kooper, which then goes back into the 'Main Title' theme by Horner. It's a wonderful mix of jazz, blues, and orchestra motifs unique to Horner's genius. Again, if you haven't seen this film, do so immediately! Enjoy.
